SONGLIST
Biography
Joe Hill started serving as the front man for working bands, doing guitar and lead vocals, from 1978 until 1993. Then in 1993 he joined a band called Cincinnati Slim and the Headhunters, playing guitar as he hit the road touring and working 140-150 nights a year performing all around Ohio and the surrounding states. During this time he opened shows for acts such as Koko Taylor, Clarence Carter, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Since 1997 Joe has played with Bad Influence and Raised By Possums all over the Dayton-Cincinnati area. Bands that Joe has played in have headlined the Dayton BluesFest for the past five years. Joe has also recorded a CD of songs all written by him.
Jeff Chambers has been a Bass player/Singer most of his life, from age 12 to the present, playing many different styles of music including progressive rock, blues, funk, jazz, and everything in between. Jeff has also played in many situations, such as loose "pick up" or "throw together" gigs where musicians may meet and play together for the first time; gigs that are more rehearsal intensive as in a band situation; and studio playing. With two older brothers (Rick and Gary) who played drums and bass and were always in bands also, music was always a big part of Jeff's life, and it was always possible to get behind a drum set, pick up a bass guitar, or play a keyboard. One day Jeff picked up a bass and just knew that was his instrument. Jeff was inspired by such performers as Chick Corea and Return to Forever, Weather Report, James Brown, Tower of Power, Jaco, Yes, ELP, Stanley Clarke....or anything else he thought was a challenge. Jeff has played and recorded in bands such as Beowulf, The Take, Smokin' Guns, Tripod, Bam Powell and the Troublemakers, The Cincinnati Shakers, Levels, Clear Blue, Raised by Possums, One of a Kind and Average Joes. Jeff looks positively toward every gig and hopes to keep the music alive and well in his life through continuing to play live gigs and recording at his MAC-equipped home studio.

Wade Back started out playing guitar around the age of 8, but quickly realized that he loved playing drums a lot more. He has been playing drums ever since, and started playing professionally in local night clubs at the age of 13. He is a former touring musician and studio session player, and at one time was asked to play a portion of a tour with Bachmann Turner Overdrive. Wade has played locally with bands such as Badger, Axxe, Beowulf, The Take, and several iterations of Average Joes. Wade still plays guitar and has also done that as a session player and a one-man acoustic act, and also plays bass and dabbles in keyboards and many other instruments that he has laying around in his home recording studio. One of Wade's major goals is to experience the pride associated with one day being able to finish a CD in which all of the songs are written, sung, played, mixed and mastered by himself. Wade has been heavily influenced by the "statistically dense" music of Frank Zappa, UK, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, ELP, The Dixie Dregs, Dream Theater, Tool, and drummers Terry Bozzio and Dave Weckl.
